Throughout the 25-Year Celebrations Ken Forrester has hosted several tasting events to raise awareness and funding for Spark School in Lynedoch, an educational institution committed to providing top-class education to the children of the winelands, and a cause truly close to Ken’s heart. “Out of these 25 events we are looking to create a bursary fund that will see underprivileged children getting a first class education that would lead to university”, says Ken Forrester.
The day-long festivities began with a special private performance from the band, Bottomless Coffee, on the lush lawns in front of the original manor house dating back to 1694. It was the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy delicious Ken Forrester wines whilst listening to great music, marvellous company and moreish canapés.
We made our way to the long table surrounded by vineyards and mountains. It was a seasonally-inspired family-style luncheon with a range of Ken Forrester wines.
