Nestled at the crest of Constantia Nek, this wine farm has some of the steepest vineyards around. The first thing you see as you walk down from the parking is the panoramic views ready to be photographed. Not to mention the stylish public toilets with its huge glass windows and stunning views overlooking the Constantia Valley!
The tasting room is a masterpiece of its own. It is modern and chic with huge glass windows overlooking the valley. The tasting room itself is small yet cosy and is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine.
You can enjoy a pre-set selection with a tasting curated from their Pas De Nom Wine Range, Beau Constantia Wine Range and Beau Constantia Spirits Range.
•PAS DE NOM RANGE•
The Pas de Nom range of wines has an interesting backstory as they have been dedicated to farm manager Japie Bronn who is recognised for his endless dedication to the vineyards and wine production at Beau Constantia.
The Pas De Nom Range of wines is a tribute to Japie Bronn, the late farm manager of Beau Constantia, who dedicated his life to vineyards and wine production. Hailing from the Robertson distric, this salt-of-the-earth winegrower developed vineyards around Constantia and Cape Point for just over 35 years. He is a legend in the wine industry.
BEAU CONSTANTIA ~ PAS DE NOM NV MCC
This bubbly shows a lifhr golden colour with a tint of yellow. The palate bursts with a full, ripe toasty aroma leading into a creamy, yeasty richness.The finish is dry and crisp,with a delicate savoury aftertaste.
This is a 100% Chardonnay MCC. Whole bunches were carefully pressed. The cuvee underwent both a natural primary fermentation and natural malolactic fermentation, after which it evolved on the primary lees for a period of 6 months without the involvement of additives. After a controlled 2nd fermentation in the bottle, an extended 3 year period of yeast contact was allowed to ensure maximum development of this exceptional Méthode Cap Classique.
BEAU CONSTANTIA ~ PAS DE NOM WHITE 2017
Uplifting aromas of pear, asparagus, and tropical green melon on the nose, which follow through beautifully to a creamy, full-flavoured palate that is balanced by a refreshing minerality. This elegant wine is rich and vibrant with a long finish.
This is a blend that consists of Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier. To retain the fresh and delicate aromas that have become characteristic of our cool climate vineyards, the Sauvignon Blanc component was fermented at a cool temperature in a stainless steel tank. The Viognier fraction, however, was barrel-fermented in order to add some weighty texture to the vibrantly fresh medium.
BEAU CONSTANTIA ~ PAS DE NOM RED 2016
A red blend that consists of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Shiraz. This dark rich red wine has notes of black cherry and liquorice with underlying earthiness. Ripe dark fruit on the palate with fresh and juicy tannins.

The Beau Constantia Range is produced in very limited quantities. Due to the unique personalities of the wine, each wine has been named after the members of the Du Preez family who own Beau Constantia.

This Viognier is full of rich flavours of white peach and soft hints of orange blossoms with poised acidity and well integrated minerality. The wine shows elegance and vibrant flavors at the same time with a long and well defined finish.
BEAU CONSTANTIA ~ LUCCA 2014
Dense aromas of Morello cherry and blackcurrant fill the nose at first, but this is a rather shy, complex wine that requires you to dig a bit deeper. These notes follow through onto a palate that shows refined tannins alongside great texture and structure. While luscious and full, there is also a minerality that creates a distinct, lengthy aftertaste.
Lucca is a classic Bordeaux-style blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc and named after the owner’s daughter.

The dense red berry flavour concentration carries onto a succulent palate where polished tannins add to the good texture and structure of the wine. The wine is rich, but also has fantastic minerality and a perfumed freshness that allows for a long, well-defined finish. The wine has been hand-crafted to express the elegance and finesse of these archetypal Bordeaux-varieties and is fittingly named Lucca for all its’ class and beauty.

It is a spicy, fruit-forward, rich and complex wine with huge flavour concentration that carries onto the palate. It is a powerful wine for sure with good mouthfeel and a long, well-defined finish. The balance of rich texture and integrated minerality gives this bold wine vibrancy, making it the perfect fit for Aidan.
This ultra-premium red blend from Beau Constantia is named after the owner’s son Aidan.
•BEAU CONSTANTIA SPIRITS•
This is a very special collaboration between Guy Munton Private Artisanal Distiller and Beau Constantia, with the main focus being to create a Gin and Vodka that are timeless and elegant.
•BEAU CONSTANTIA KARIN ~ GIN•
This is a wine-based Gin designed as a ‘sipping-Gin’; perfect when served on ice, though it also marries well with a good quality Tonic Water. Ingredients and aromatics infused are: Juniper Berries, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Star Anis, Lime, Rooibos, Honeybush and Fynbos.
This Gin is aptly named after KARIN, Cecily’s mother. A womal of dignity and elegance, exuding an inextinguishable passion for whatever she takes on in life, while always showing commitment towards those close to her and helping where she can.
BEAU CONSTANTIA LEON ~ CAPE VODKA
This Cape Vodka with an Olive Leaf and Rosemary infusion is aptly named LEON after their late father and grandfather. He was someone with an incredible zest for life and absolute loyalty and dedication to family and friends.
BEAU CONSTANTIA RONALD ~ AMBER VODKA
This Amber Vodka with Naartjie, Saffron and Bergamot infusions, embellished with Gold Leaf, is aptly named after Cecily’s father, RONALD. He was a bright, well traveled, man with a zest for life that is embodied in the colour of the Vodka.
Beau Constantia is also home to the popular Chef’s Warehouse, which is open for lunch and dinner, offering a seasonal, produce-driven menu that changes regularly.
The Tasting Room is open daily from 10am to 4.30pm, while the Wine Bar is open daily from 12pm to 8pm, closed on Sunday and Monday evenings from 4.30pm.
