Waterford Estate is situated in the picturesque Blaauwklippen area of Stellenbosch with panoramic mountains and luscious vineyards to create a beautiful backdrop.
You know you are in for a treat when you drive pass rolling green lawns, perfect for a picnic under the trees, a water feature to add to the ambience and rows of citrus orchids to complete the picture.
The centerpiece of the courtyard is the iconic fountain that features on the wine labels, surrounded by trees, tables and comfortable couches offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of today’s busy lifestyle. There is nothing as soothing as sitting under the trees, sipping on wine and enjoying a delicious antipasto platter filled with cured meats, cheese, bread and local produce. It sets a feeling of being transported to one of Italy’s most beautiful villages.

“GREAT WINES ARE BORN FROM THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PLANT, SOIL AND CLIMATE OF A SPECIFIC SITE, TOGETHER WITH THE CREATIVE ART OF WINEMAKING AND BLENDING. THIS IS OFTEN A TIMELESS PURSUIT, BUT WHEN IT COMES TOGETHER, THE REWARD IS ETERNAL”
