Horse riding does miracles for your butt, legs and core muscles. You will undoubtedly feel like you’ve worked out after just an hour in the saddle going up and down the hills.
However, the most enjoyable part of riding a horse is the relaxation that comes with breathing in fresh country air, passing by rows of orchards that are in full bloom, taking in breath-taking vistas, and listening to birds sing. This is when your mind is calm, and your soul is soothed.

For a spectacular 2- to 2.5-hour experience with a stunning setting as the sun sets and opt for a Sundowner Ride, which is ideal for both novice and experienced riders. Snacks and a choice of local wine or a refreshing L-GIN are provided. For the experienced riders, why not book the Night Owl Moonlight Ride? Early risers can take advantage of the Early Bird Breakfast ride, which includes a scrumptious breakfast with bubbly and orange juice at the stables when you get back.
Birthday parties, holiday camps only but to name a few are catered for at Long Shadows Farm, but they will tailor a package to suit your needs. It gets you out of your comfort zone. Horses are indeed soothing and gentle and being in their presence is incredibly healing for the spirit.
