Wine is the heart of Doran Vineyards. The estate is well known for its Pinotage, alongside a selection of Chenin Blanc, Grenache Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz. Established in 2008 by Edwin Doran, the vineyard reflects his Irish roots and a strong sense of hospitality, with family remaining at the core of the brand and its storytelling.
Wine tastings are hosted in The Clubhouse Tasting Room or on the verandah, offering a relaxed yet refined setting. Guests can choose between tastings of 4, 6, or 8 wines, allowing for a personalised exploration of the range.
The Arya 2024 is a fresh, unwooded blend of Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc, created in honour of Edwin’s granddaughter. It shows lively citrus notes supported by gentle apricot nuances and an aromatic finish that feels bright and inviting. The Chenin Blanc Reserve 2023 presents a more structured style, full bodied yet elegant, with 14 months in oak contributing layers of honeyed richness and citrus complexity. Rosie D Rosé 2024, named after Edwin’s wife and made from Grenache Noir, offers vibrant red berry and strawberry flavours, complemented by subtle floral tones and a clean, dry finish.
