Pinotage and Biltong Festival ~ A sea of purple and white

Get your purple and white outfits ready, round up some friends and don’t miss out on the this year’s Pinotage and Biltong Festival at Perdeberg Winery between Durbanville and Paarl in mid-April.

Dates and Times: Saturday 13 April and Sunday 14 April from 11h00-17h00.

18 Wineries will offer around 30 Pinotages for tasting and for sale ranging from the traditional red variant to Rosé’s, bubblies, dessert wines and even white Pinotage. Each winery will have one wine paired with a Biltong flavour courtesy of Afrifoods Biltong Factory.

The participating wineries are: Badsberg Winery, Balance Wines, Bellingham Wines, Beyerskloof, Brampton Wines, Delheim Wines, Doran Vineyards, Flagstone Winery, Franschhoek Cellar, Grande Provence, Hill & Dale, Lanzerac Wine Estate, Mellasat Vineyards, Neethlingshof, Old Road Wine Co, Perdeberg Cellar, Simonsvlei International, Wellington Wines.

Food trucks offering eats ranging from coffee, sweet treats, Bratwurst, Pizza right up to healthy and organic dishes, will make sure no-one leaves hungry. At the Perdeberg tasting room visitors can enjoy the oysters and bubbly bar, buy samoosas and cheese platters and even grab some craft beer if the wine isn’t enough!

Live music by The Wildberries and a small kiddies play area makes it a day to remember out in the Winelands. Dress in your funkiest purple and white outfits and stand a chance to win some prizes too.

Tickets: At . R230 pp on-line and R270 at the gate. VIP tickets at R500 pp.

General ticket includes: Entrance to festival area, seating, branded crystal glass, 18 curated Pinotage & Biltong pairings, another 30 wines to taste and buy.

VIP Ticket includes all of the above PLUS a private area with reserved seating for your group, a welcome drink and light meal on arrival, service staff, late afternoon coffee and a sweet treat.
