The steak is the focus and they serve all the classics, like rump, sirloin and T-bone, as well as a good selection of sides and toppings. They take great care from the diet and quality of life of the animal to the careful ageing and precise cooking to make that bite of steak meltingly tender and full of flavour.
You have the choice of grain or grass fed, wet or dry aged. They talk you through the process and the best cuts. It is great to see how they enjoy explaining it to you.
The meat from the fillet to the t-bone steak are cooked to perfection and seasoned well with no basting and only a rub that brings out the flavour of the meat.
The side dishes are nothing short of dee-vine! Think creamy pap with tomato relish, sauteed seasonal veggies and crispy chips. The crunchy, beer battered onion rings are tasty and will leave you asking for more.
With a history of winemaking dating back to 1699, why not enjoy a wine tasting and make a day of it. The estate is beautiful with immaculate gardens and picturescue views as pretty as a picture.
