Winter Of Wander At Durbanville Hills

Winter is a magical time to explore the winelands and a series of food and wine evenings paired with exotic global cuisine at Durbanville Hills, will add some warmth to the cooler nights.

In this series, the winemaking team will showcase how the close proximity of the Durbanville Hills vineyards to Cape Town and the ocean offers a cool climate terroir ideal for the production of exceptional grapes.

Wines from the Durbanville Hills Collectors Reserve range will be matched with the diverse food flavours of Brazil, Morocco, Sweden and Germany on alternate evenings.

Come and explore these wines inspired by the vibrancy of Cape Town’s creative energy on the following country cuisine specific evenings starting at 18.00 for 18.30:

  • Brazil – 11 and 12 May 2022
  • Morocco – 8 and 9 June 2022
  • Sweden – 6 and 7 July 2022
  • Germany – 10 and 17 August 2022

The evening includes a tutored tasting and a three-course paired menu with each wine of the evening.

The location of Durbanville Hills’ cellar, a mere 20 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre, offers spectacular views of Table Mountain and Table Bay, the ideal setting for an evening of global taste exploration!

Inspired by Cape Town and the radiant energy and creativity of her people, the Durbanville Hills Collectors Reserve range of wines, features a prominent Cape Town landmark, most of which are visible from the winery, artistically captured by Capetonian artist Theo Paul Vorster.
