Caroline’s Red Wine Review is a treasure trove of the Cape’s most celebrated wines

Caroline’s Red Wine Review 2023, one of the most coveted tasting events on the South African wine calendar presented by Cape Town’s legendary Caroline Rillema, takes place in the V&A Waterfront on Thursday, 27 July.

This world-class annual showcase gives wine enthusiasts the rare opportunity to discover and taste the Cape’s best flagship red wines all under one roof.

Only 90 accolade-achieving winemakers, the crème de la crème of South African wine producers, are invited to present just one wine – their best of the best – on the evening.

“We are delighted to bring the Cape’s finest producers of red wines together once again, giving lovers of fine wines the incredible opportunity to taste, meet and engage with the passionate people behind these phenomenal labels,” says Caroline whose eponymous stores, Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar, in Sea Point and Tokai are known internationally as the place to go for the very best and exciting in wine.

Join Caroline and the Cape’s leading masters of red wines for an unmissable evening of walk-around wine tasting with fellow wine lovers, collectors, sommeliers and prestigious producers.

Caroline’s Red Wine Review takes place at The Lookout in the V&A Waterfront from 17h00 to 21h00. Tickets at R450 per person are available via Quicket at
