Join Haute Cabrière on Thursday, 22 December 2022, in their annual celebration of their founding Huguenot, Pierre Jourdan, with a showcase of their Cap Classique wine range with the same name.

Founded in 1964, Haute Cabrière’s history is as deeply rooted as their heritage vines and family ties. On the 22nd of December annually, they celebrate the day in 1694 that the deed for the original farm was granted to Pierre Jourdan, a Hugenoet from the village of Cabrière d’Aigues in France. When the von Arnim family acquired the farm in the 1980s, they reconnected with the estate’s longstanding history and linked the past with the present (and into the future), through their cellar, wine ranges, family, and passion for creating something new out of something traditional.

Now, over 300 years later, guests and Cap Classique fans can sample the Pierre Jourdan range of Cap Classiques, named for the original patron of the land in the tradition of the Champagne region of France, at this special anniversary event.

1. A TASTE OF OUR FINEST:
   All guests will receive a complimentary tasting of Pierre Jourdan Brut, Belle Rose or Belle Nectar on arrival.
    
2. UNCAPPED CAP CLASSIQUE:
   Bottomless Cap Classique when dining for breakfast or lunch at Haute Cabrière, for only R250 per person.?
   Pre-book for breakfast or Pre-book for lunch
    
   Breakfast is served from 09h00 till 11h00. Lunch is served from 12:00 with final orders at 14:00. The estate closes at 5pm.
    
3. FREE MACARONS WITH CAP CLASSIQUE:
   Purchase six bottles of any Pierre Jourdan Cap Classique from the cellar door on 22 December 2022 and receive a complimentary box of six macarons with every case.
    
4. SABRAGE:
   The home in South Africa for the art and history of sabrage, guests can enjoy guided sabrage demonstrations every 2 hours (perfect to learn more, share on Instagram and feel festive).
